Targeting and Filling subchondral bone defects

The Subchondroplasty Procedure is a minimally-invasive, fluoroscopically-assisted procedure that targets and fills subchondral bone defects through the delivery of AccuFill® Bone Substitute Material (BSM), a nanocrystalline, highly porous injectable calcium phosphate (CaP).

The SCP Procedure is usually performed along with arthroscopy for visualization and treatment of findings inside the joint. In some cases, an open or mini-open procedure is necessary for access to the defect.

The SCP procedure fills bone defects with AccuFill BSM, a truly-injectable bone substitute material

Injected AccuFill BSM

An engineered calcium phosphate compound that flows readily to fill subchondral bone defects, the crystalizes and sets in an isothermic reaction at 37 degrees C to form a nanocrystalline,* microporous scaffold in the bone. AccuFill BSM is replaced with new bone during the healing process.

AccuPort Delivery Cannulas

2 components: cannula + stylus – Stylus locks to cannula hub. Trocar-tip for cutting ability. Insert with OR wire driver. 2 sizes. 11 gauge cannula . Side or end-delivery . 15-gauge cannula. End-delivery. Smaller lumen and shorter length is designed to be a  good choice for use in the smaller bones of the midfoot and forefoot
